Approximately 1100 square meters of land will be used for the corn field. It will be divided into 14 treatments with 3 replications each.

As of now, the corn field is 17 DAP. Weeds are evident in the field but herbicide was applied to control it.

Legend:
- 1 NPK is the recommended rate based on the Soil Test Analysis which is 120-60-60.
- Recommended rate of DPF is 20 kg based on the result conducted during the Wet Season.


Based on the gathered data, Treatment 6 (T6) which is 1 NPK with 20 kg of DPF consistently showed the best results for both plant height and stem diameter in corn, making it the most effective treatment overall as of 30 DAP.
For plant height, T6 was followed by T14, T5, T7, and T13 in effectiveness.
For stem diameter, T6 was again the best, followed by T5, T14, T7, and T13.
This suggests that next to Treatment 6, treatment 5 (1 NPK + 15 kg DPF) and Treatment 14 (1 NPK + 22.5 kg DPF) are also promising.
February 26, 2025


Today is the 60 DAP corn. Expected harvest will be on last week of March. As per observation, so far the best treatments are Treatment 14 (1 NPK and 22.5 kg DPF) and 8 (1 NPK and 30 DPF)



As per checking, some parts of the plot with Treatment 14 have corn silk already and 3-4 emerging corns.
March 12, 2025


This is the aerial view for the ongoing bioefficacy trial of corn. Today is the 74 DAP of rice. Expected harvest will be in the last week of March.




Based on observation of the research assistants, best treatment as of now is Treatment 14 which is 1 NPK with 22.5 kg of DPF.In this treatment, most of the corn has 3-4 corn cobs while the control usually has 1-2.



As of now, the corn is in the reproductive stage wherein formation of ears, silk and tassels have already emergence and pollination is ongoing at this stage.
