This is the lowland irrigated area to be used for rice which is approximately 900 square meters in total. This is the same land used in the first demo in Nueva Ecija last wet season.

Aerial view of rice fields in Nueva Ecija. The land will be divided based on the experimental layout approved by FPA which has 11 treatments and 3 replications each treatment.

Legends:
- 1 NPK is the recommended rate based on the Soil Test Analysis which is 110-60-60.
- Recommended rate of DPF is 20 kg based on the result conducted during the Wet Season. Hence, 1.5 DPF is equivalent to 30 kg.
The rice is now 30 DAT and has already 1 application of DPF. As per observation on the last data gathering conducted, here are the treatments that stood out:
- Treatment 2 (NPK alone)
- Treatment 2 consistently performs well for the tiller count as well as plant height. For tiller count, it was top 1 for replications 1 and 2.
- Treatment 6 (1 NPK and RR of DPF)
- It consistently ranks in the top three for plant height across all replications (3rd in Replication 1, 1st in Replication 2, and 3rd in Replication 3). However, it doesnt rank in the top for the tiller count.
- Treatment 7 (1 NPK and 1.5 DPF)
- It appears in the top three for both traits in Replication 3 (1st for plant height and 1st for tiller count). And also ranks 2nd for plant height in replication 2. Thus, Treatment 7 has potential for both traits however it is not consistent across all replications for now.
So far, Treatment 2 is the most promising candidate due to its strong and consistent performance across both traits. Treatment 6 leads for the plant height, while Treatment 7 shows good potential for both traits under specific conditions.

Today is the 58 DAT or rice. Based on observation, the best treatment as of now is Treatment 6 and 7 which is 1 NPK with 20 DPF and 1 NPK with 30 DPF respectively. The density and height of these treatments are better compared to others.

The rice is 78 DAT as of now. Based on the calendar of activities, the expected harvest date will be around March 10-15 but this will still be based on the weather. So far, the best treatment is Treatment 6 with 1 NPK and 20 DPF.

Harvesting of the rice field this dry season together with the Dumangan Prime Inc, Doc Connie and the farmers.

After harvesting, several data are needed to be taken like Average plant height in cm, Tiller count (productive and unproductive), Panicle count, Straw weight at harvest from
5m2 per plot in kg and Fresh weight and dry weight of grain yield in tons/ha.
Samples are labeled per treatment and put into a sack to avoid contamination with other samples for accuracy of results.

Based on the preliminary data gathered by Doc Connie and her team last March 15, 2025, the demo field yielded 13.43 tons/ha while the control field yielded only 8.27 tons/ha. Hence, there was an increase in yield by 62.39%. Furthermore, this increase in yield is subject to change based on the final report.
