The purpose of the experiment is to:
- Determine the appropriate dosage rate of the Dumangan Prime fertilizer for crop production
- Determine the frequency of the Dumangan Prime fertilizer application for crop production
Legends:
- DPF – Dumangan Prime Fertilizer, NPK – Traditional fertilizer such as Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium;
- Unit for DPF is kg/hectare. I.e 30kg/hectare (recommended dosage), 15kg/hectare (half of recommended dosage), 10kg/hectare (1/3 of recommended dosage).
- Unit for NPK is the multiple of the recommended rate. I.e. NPK:1 is the recommended dosage, NPK:0.5 is half of the recommended dosage.

On June 8th, a rice field and corn field in Nueva Ecija province was fertilized in the presence of a third party with the help of Dr. Constancia C. Dacumos, an Agriculturist, Soil Technologist, and a former professor in CLSU This is the interim comparative effect just received.

Based on observations from the third-party rice experiment field, the application of different amounts of nutrient fertilizer (20, 25, 30 kg/ha) showed similar results, all of which were better than the control field without nutrient fertilizer. If future yield results are consistent, it is recommended to reduce the nutrient fertilizer application rate from 30 kg/ha to 20 kg/ha to lower costs. In comparison between fields with 20 kg/ha of nutrient fertilizer and those without, the highest plants in the experimental field measured 107 cm, compared to 101 cm in the control field. The number of tillers in the experimental field was 29, compared to 19 in the control field, representing a 65% increase. Additionally, the root systems were more developed and the plants were sturdier in the experimental field, providing a solid foundation for future yield increases.
October 3, 2024 – Harvest Day
Harvesting of rice in the city of Muñoz in Nueva Ecija. Upon checking the grain yield, the plot with 20 kg/ha of DPF with 80-60-60 of NPK/ha in 3 split applications was 85.19% higher than the plot with 0 DPF with 80-60-60 of NPK/ha.
Therefore, the best treatment is 20 kilograms of DPF per hectare in combination of 80-60-60 kg of NPK which yielded 7.50 tons per ha compared with the control which only yielded 4.05 tons per ha of rice.
